Alicante Castle

Over the centuries, it has undergone numerous modifications and played a significant role in various historical events, including battles and sieges. is a place you should visit it overlooks Alicante there are three ways to visit it you can catch a tour bus which you can get off or on at various stops. The second way to reach the castle is by walking up to it and the third option is catching a lift these are located on the opposite side of the beach about half way up where you walk to and there is a tunnel to the lifts you should go up to the top of the castle as there are some fabolous views of Alicante, Marina, pier and the Mountains. There are sections which include dungeons, lookout towers, and ancient walls that can be visited there are also guided tours

The Explanada de España

Most iconic landmarks it is opposite to the port where when walking down it there are shops where you can buy gifts. There are palm trees where there is a relaxing environment the walkway consists of over 6.5 million marble tiles which include mosaic of red, cream and black waves there are street vendors musicians, and occasional cultural events there are several cafes and restaurants along the route the Explanada de España is an experience not to be missed.

Mount Benacantil
